Writing Weekend
Next live Writing Camp happening on October 10 & 11 in the early Parisian mornings / October 9 & 10 for New Yorker nights or Seattle evenings (you shall be able to see or look up the sessions in your timezone :)
You want to get in some words before the holiday season starts to stress you out? You always wanted to have dedicated time to sit down and read through your millions of Substack drafts, notes app entries or poetry? You haven’t had time to simply sit down and write on your book these last weeks? This is your sign to finally show up for your idea and yourself. You’ve got this.
Extras are access to journaling prompts and check-in time throughout the three hours each day. If you’re seeking additional feedback, feel free to book a writing consult/feedback session with me to discuss everything a little further into the process after this weekend :)
Here on this website, you have the option to purchase a ticket for the complete experience and weekend! If you wanna attend only one of the days, you can purchase single-day tickets on here.
The structure of the sessions are:
2.5 hours per session
30 minutes filled with journaling / writing exercise / reading time
1.5 hours of broken-up writing sprints + breaks
30 minutes of check-in time
plenty of little pauses to refill your water bottle/beverages + recharge for the next sprint
writing prompts to get the words flowing
fun music (curated by a music journalist, moi!)
check-in time to get feedback, ask questions, etc.
Rules and need-to-know's:
You're muted throughout the entire session; only during check-in time, you can request to speak and unmute.
You can your camera off during the entire time: some writers prefer to have camera on for accountability, if you're more comfortable off-camera, then do so :) I'm here for you regardless :)
There's no need to share anything you're currently writing with anyone, I do ask what project you wanna work on during this time while you sign up, but during the actual sessions, you won't be asked to share anything. You're of course welcome to do so if you want some feedback during the check-in time.
