I’ve seen the small things
They do for each other
He makes her coffee in the morning
And greets her with a kiss on her forehead
She laughs at all his jokes
No matter how cheesy
I’ve seen them
Dancing in the kitchen
To their favorite music
The look in their eyes
Says that they’re teenagers again
Young and in love
Their smiles so wide
Grins from ear to ear
Laughter ringing out
I love watching them
So happy
So in love
I can only hope
To one day have something
Half as good
As they do
